Top bit of news for us over at Who dares Rolls is Cryptozoic have the rights for the Archer TV show which we all love for its snarky spy fueled shenanigans.
Archer The Danger Zone! Board Game: A high-stakes game of espionage, international intrigue, and screwing over your co-workers.
The object of the game is to gain the Upper Hand over your opponents by insulting them, doing well on missions whilst encountering random guest stars and secondary characters from the show. Sounds like a a big box of joy the prospect of this has given me half an erection just thinking about it.
We also got mention of Bravest Warriors Dice Game (dice yay!) based on Pendelton Wards new show creator of Adventure Time (another WDR favorite)
And final piece from Cyrptozoic and their licenses is Portal:The Uncooperative Cake Acquisition Game – coming from Valve who created the excellent game. Very interested what this could contain.
They also have announced about 400 Walking Dead expansions and games….
Plaid Hat have announced that they have the license to Video Game High School – Me and the kids love this show and very much looking forward to some of this.
And whilst we are discussing Plaid Hat its not too late to pre-order the forthcoming Dead Of Winter game that is looking better and better. And at a very reasonable $39.99 with only $10 shipping to the UK. Really excited about this one and its looking gorgeous.
We don’t cover a lot of RPG news on here but one very cool little gem that has captured my interest is Project Dark from Will Hindmarch currently on Kickstarter which can be backed for some very reasonable prices. And is getting some seriously juicy word of mouth, 5 days to go on the campaign so jump in now before you miss out.
Don’t forget to check out the first episode of the WDR podcast and feel free to leave your comments at our guild on BGG its kinda lonely out here and we need to feel your love.
And love us on Board Game Links. A great resource for all those wonderful board games out there.
Keep playing and being nice when you do.
